Abstract

Atomic absorption spectrometric method has been developed for determination of aclidinium bromide in its pure and pharmaceutical dosage form. The method was based on the ability of aclidinium bromide to form stable ion pair complex with ammonium reineckate and the amount of chromium in the formed complex, corresponding directly to the concentrations of the reacted aclidinium bromide, has been measured directly at 357.9 nm. The proposed method has been validated and successfully applied for the determination of the drug in its commercial preparation.
