Abstract

Proteins are the major macromolecules which are helps in the development of the cell. The proteinase enzymes function in the catabolism of proteins. Albino Rats were administered with a selected dose (1mg/kg) of FK 506 and treatment period selected was 7 (short term) and 28 days, (long term). Rats were gavaged (daily doses) with 1mg/kg of FK 506 saline vehicle over 7 or 28 days. In the control (saline treated) and experimental rat tissues selected metabolic parameters were studied.  In this paper to determine the control and FK 506 treated enzyme activities of Protease, AAT and ALAT in different tissues of albino rats.
