Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

The preferred format for manuscript is typewritten (ms word) in English on A4 size paper, double space, 12 font size, 1" margin from all side, preferred language is Times New Roman and title shall be in 14 font size (bold, italic). The Journal welcomes the submission of manuscripts that meet the general criteria of significance and scientific excellence. Pages should be numbered. Standard International Units could be used throughout the text.

The manuscript should be starting with the title page and the text should be arranged in the following order:

  • Title Page
  • Abstract and Keywords (Rewrite Abstract which should be structural (Divide it into- Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusion).
  • Introduction
  • Material and Methods
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgements
  • Conflict of interest
  • References
  • Table and figures

 

Fonts used in the text as well as graphics should be restricted to Times New Roman.

Title page

The title must be as brief as possible, comprehensive and descriptive. Type the complete Title in capital and bold words (Times New Roman, 14 font size). Names of authors and affiliation should be written below the title (Times New Roman, 12 font size, numbers in superscript). The Corresponding Author of the manuscript must be mentioned the star mark in superscript (Maximum author should not be more than 6). Mention email address and contact number of main author.

Abstract and Key words

Abstract should be start on a new page after the title page. Abstract should be typed in single-space. The Abstract should be informative and completely self-explanatory. The abstract should not be more than 250 words. Standard nomenclature should be used and abbreviations should be avoided. Below the abstract, type 4-6 keywords. Rewrite Abstract which should be structural (Divide it into- Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusion).  If possible, keywords should be selected from Index Medicus or Excerpta Medica Index. Words appearing in the title should not be given as keywords.

Introduction

The Introduction should provide a clear statement of the problem, clear background information, the relevant literature on the subject, and the proposed approach or solution. It should be start on a new page.

Material and Methods

The section Material and Methods should include concise details on the methodology adopted, sufficient to repeat the experiment. The main methods used shall be briefly described, citing references. The sources of all major instruments and reagents used (kits, drugs, etc) must be given with parentheses. All procedures involving experimental animals or human subjects must accompany a statement on ethical approval from appropriate ethics committee (CPCSEA, IAEC ETC.).

Results and Discussion 

The results should be written in the past tense. All results presented in tabular or graphical form shall be described in this section. All Tables and figures must have a title and a legend to make them self-explanatory and they should be given numbers. Tables and figures should be typed on separate sheets.  Discussion should contain a critical review of the results of the study with the support of relevant literature. This section should follow results, deal with the interpretation of results and convey how they help increase current understanding of the problem.

Conclusion

State the conclusions in a few sentences at the end of the paper.

Acknowledgements
Acknowledgments should be typed in one paragraph just before the reference section.

Conflict of interest

This note should be added in a separate section before the reference list. If no conflict exists, authors should state: The authors declare that they have no conflict of interest.

References

References should be cited in the text in English numerals in superscript. The references should be cited at the end of the manuscript in the order of their appearance in the text (not in alphabetic order). References must be numbered consecutively in order of citation in the text. When there are more than two authors, only the first author's name should be mentioned, followed by et al˜.  For scientific articles, contributors should obtain written permission and confirmation of accuracy from the source of a personal communication.
